More about me –  Christina MacGregor, the Artist 

I’m Christina MacGregor. I’m a fan of letting the artwork define itself — people either like it or they don’t. That’s kind of the point, isn’t it?”

I’ve always been drawn to making things — painting, sketching, experimenting with digital tools. This site started out as a kind of virtual sketchbook, a space for me to share recent work and practise putting my art into the world. I work with both acrylic and digital media, and the themes vary depending on what I’m exploring or reacting to at the time.

I’m not into over-complicating things with too much “art speak.” I’d rather let the work speak for itself. That doesn’t mean there’s no meaning behind it — just that I want viewers to have the space to interpret it in their own way. Some pieces are raw and immediate, others are more considered, but they’re all honest expressions of where I was at when I made them.

My focus is always on improving — in technique, in expression, in trying new things. The work is varied, original, and always evolving. Hopefully, you’ll find something here that connects with you. And if you do — why not buy it?
